Welcome to ScreenWise. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are a parent or legal guardian using ScreenWise to monitor your child's device activity, you accept these Terms on behalf of yourself and your family.
ScreenWise is intended for use by parents and legal guardians. By creating a child profile, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child and that you have the authority to consent to the collection of information from that child as required under applicable law.
ScreenWise offers auto-renewing monthly subscriptions (Basic and Family plans) and a one-time download option. Subscriptions are billed through our secure payment processor (Base44 Payments / Stripe) at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Account → Manage Billing.
Each subscription includes up to 5 registered devices. Additional devices may be added for $1.00 per device per month. Device licenses are tied to your account and may not be transferred to another account.
You agree not to:
ScreenWise relies on device operating-system permissions (such as Apple Screen Time and Android Digital Wellbeing APIs) to track app usage. We do not guarantee that every platform or app will be trackable on every device, and availability of features may vary by operating system and device settings. We are not liable for limitations imposed by the device manufacturer or operating system.
ScreenWise is a tool to assist parents in guiding digital habits. It is not a substitute for parental supervision. We do not guarantee that all harmful content will be blocked or that screen-time limits cannot be bypassed. Parents remain responsible for their children's digital safety.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You may delete your account at any time from Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your and your children's data will be permanently removed within 30 days (except where retention is legally required). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScreenWise shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify account holders of material changes via email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
